Double Hammer natural mulch is hardwood mulch that has been run through the mulch hammer-mill two times.  It is a finer product that is used where you are most likely looking to put mulch.   Double hammer mulch around your plants,  gardens and anywhere close to the house that you are looking to beautify.  Natural mulch is the best way to keep down weeds, retain water while lowering soil temperatures around seedling and newly planted plants or trees.   We recommend natural mulch as possible.  It's more economical so you can use it under the swing set around your raised beds go crazy!  Dark colored mulch subject to direct sunlight raises soil temperatures leading to stunted, slowed plant growth or even plant death.
